Exhibits embody birds and some reptiles dwelling free inside, and plenty of different animals in enclosures together with a bunch of meerkats. Leeds has also been the spawning ground for a number of notable rock groups, together with the Gang of four, the Mekons, the marriage Current, Chumbawamba, the Kaiser Chiefs, and (by the use of Kendal, Cumbria) Wild Beasts.
